Location & arrival at the Lahnerhof
The Lahnerhof is located above the historic town of Sterzing in the Wipptal Valley, nestled in the impressive mountain world of the South Tyrolean Alps. At around 1,000 meters above sea level, you enjoy a sunny and quiet location with a wonderful view over the Eisack Valley and the surrounding valleys.
Thanks to its proximity to the highway, the Sterzing train station and several airports, the Lahnerhof is easy to reach – whether by car, train or plane.

Car
Traveling to the Lahnerhof by car can be planned easily and flexibly. Thanks to the convenient location above Sterzing, you can reach our hotel quickly via the Brenner motorway. During your stay, a car is also ideal for comfortably discovering the many excursion destinations, hiking areas and mountain landscapes around Sterzing, Ratschings and the Wipptal.
Coming from the north (Brenner)
Drive from Innsbruck via the Brenner motorway A13 towards Brenner and then continue on the A22 towards Bolzano. After the Brenner Pass, you will reach the Sterzing/Vipiteno motorway exit after about 16 km.
At the first roundabout, follow the direction Ratschings/Ridnaun. After about half a kilometer, you will reach another roundabout where you turn right towards Thuins/Telfes. After approximately one kilometer, the Lahnerhof is located on the right-hand side.
Coming from the south (Bolzano)
Follow the A22 motorway from Bolzano towards Brenner and take the Sterzing/Vipiteno exit.
At the roundabout, follow the direction Ratschings/Ridnaun. After about half a kilometer, you will reach another roundabout where you turn right towards Thuins/Telfes. After approximately one kilometer, the Lahnerhof is located on the right-hand side.
Train
Traveling by train is a relaxed and environmentally friendly way to start your holiday in South Tyrol. Sit back, read a good book and enjoy the impressive Alpine landscape on your way to Sterzing.
The nearest train station is located in Sterzing/Vipiteno, just a few minutes from the Lahnerhof. From there, you can easily reach our hotel by taxi or public transport. We are also happy to assist you in organizing a transfer from Sterzing train station to our hotel.
Especially for guests who wish to travel without their own car, the train is a pleasant alternative to start your holiday in the South Tyrolean mountains in a stress-free and comfortable way.

Bus
Many guests choose a relaxed arrival without their own car. The public transport network in South Tyrol is very well developed and allows for an uncomplicated journey to the region around Sterzing.
By bus or train you can reach the Sterzing/Vipiteno train station, from where you can reach the Lahnerhof in a few minutes by taxi or bus.

Plane
Do you have a long journey or would you like to start your holiday in South Tyrol quickly and comfortably? Then arriving by plane is recommended. The nearest airports, Innsbruck and Bolzano, can both be reached in approximately 1 hour by car.
Further easily accessible airports are located in Munich, Verona or Venice. From there you can conveniently travel towards Sterzing and the Lahnerhof by train, rental car or shuttle service.
